Antitumor agent-149 (Compound 3) is an Echinomycin analog that blocks HIF-1α transcriptional activity. This mechanism induces apoptosis in cancer cells and has demonstrated efficacy in suppressing tumor growth in both in vitro studies and an SW620 xenograft mouse model.
