  Progranulin modulator-2 (compound 18A) is a bromodomain and extra-terminal domain (BET) inhibitor. Progranulin modulator-2 enhances PGRN expression by targeting members of the BET protein family. Progranulin modulator-2 can be used to study the role of BET protein in neurodevelopment, neuroplasticity and neurodegeneration[1].
