• Bioactivity :

  PBA-AMF is activated by H2O2, releasing formamide (AMF) . This compound selectively inhibits the proliferation of breast cancer cells without affecting non-cancerous cells. It works by inhibiting DNA synthesis, reducing ATP levels, inducing apoptosis (Apoptosis), and arresting the cell cycle, thereby suppressing tumor growth. PBA-AMF is useful in studies of tumors and other diseases associated with elevated levels of H2O2.
