  Antituberculosis agent-15 (Compound 18c) is a selective antimycobacterial agent with a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of 0.45 ?M against Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv (ATCC 27294) and 0.28 ?M against its wild-type strain H37Rv-LP (ATCC 25618) . It exhibits potent intracellular inhibitory activity in macrophage infection models, with an IC50 of 0.16 ?M. Antituberculosis agent-15 is applicable for tuberculosis research.
