Autogramin-2

• Background:

  Autogramin-2 is an inhibitor of autophagy (autophagy induced by amino acid starvation IC50 = 270 nM; Rapamycin IC50 = 140 nM) acting via selective targeting of the cholesterol transfer protein GRAM domain-containing protein 1A (GRAMD1A) . Autogramin-2 inhibition of GRAMD1A inhibits biogenesis of the autophagosome.
