  HCAIX-IN-10 (Compound 6i) is a selective inhibitor of carbonic anhydrase IX and XII, targeting hCA IX (Ki: 61.5 nM) and hCA XII (Ki: 586.8 nM) . hCA IX and hCA XII are transmembrane isoforms of carbonic anhydrase and serve as biomarkers for certain types of tumors, with hCA XII also playing a role in maintaining acid-base homeostasis in both normal and tumor cells.
