Description
Sp-ATPαS is a regulator of ATP-binding proteins. Sp-ATPαS is a competitive antagonist of the human P2Y1 receptor, which can inhibit the calcium signal induced by ADP. Sp-ATPαS is metabolically more stable than ATP[1]. Sp-ATPαS can be used to study the binding patterns of metals and nucleotides in enzymatic reactions.
