SCH-53870 is a Ras activation inhibitor that binds to the Ras-GDP complex, keeping the Ras protein in an inactive GDP-bound state and preventing it from switching to an active GTP-bound state. SCH-53870 affects cell signaling and cell proliferation by preventing the activation of Ras protein. SCH-53870 can be used in cancer research[1].
