Description
The CD226 Cell-Based ELISA Kit is a convenient, lysate-free, high throughput and sensitive assay kit that can monitor CD226 protein expression profile in cells. The kit can be used for measuring the relative amounts of CD226 in cultured cells as well as screening for the effects that various treatments, inhibitors (ie. siRNA or chemicals), or activators have on CD226.

Function
Involved in intercellular adhesion, lymphocyte signaling, cytotoxicity and lymphokine secretion mediated by cytotoxic T-lymphocyte (CTL) and NK cell (PubMed:8673704) . Cell surface receptor for NECTIN2. Upon ligand binding, stimulates T- cell proliferation and cytokine production, including that of IL2, IL5, IL10, IL13, and IFNG. Competes with PVRIG for NECTIN2-binding (PubMed:26755705) .
