  PLpro-IN-8 (compound 1) is a SARS-CoV papain-like protease (PLpro) inhibitor with IC50 values of 5.9 μM and 0.46 μM for SARS-CoV-2 PLpro and SARS -CoV-1 PLpro, respectively. PLpro-IN-8 inhibits Wuhan strain WK-521 of SARS-CoV-2 with an EC50 of 2.7 μM[1].
