HYNIC-CTP can bind with the radionuclide 99mTc through HYNIC acting as a chelator, forming 99mTc-HYNIC-CTP. 99mTc-HYNIC-CTP is specifically taken up by the heart and used for cardiac imaging, thereby facilitating research into heart diseases[1][2].
