  SDH-IN-26 (Compound C3) is a succinate dehydrogenase (SDH) inhibitor with significant inhibitory activity against various plant pathogenic fungi, including solanrhizoctonia and Botrytis cinerea. It exhibits an EC50 value of 0.270 ?g/mL against solanrhizoctonia. SDH-IN-26 compromises fungal cell membrane integrity, increases membrane permeability, disrupts cell structure, reduces mitochondrial count, and affects normal hyphal growth. It also decreases mitochondrial membrane potential, inducing apoptosis. SDH-IN-26 holds potential for studying plant diseases caused by fungi.
