It stimulates autophagy by inhibiting Akt/mTOR signaling and the expression of downstream proteins. Additionally, Autophagyinducer 7 suppresses DNA synthesis and causes G0-G1 cell cycle arrest, ultimately inhibiting the growth of tumor cells.
