Assay Principle
Peptone provide the growth necessary for carbon and nitrogen source; a high content of sodium chloride to inhibit bacteria resistant to high osmotic pressure; agar as medium coagulant. Formulation (per liter) : Tryptone 10g Sodium chloride 10g Agar 15g Final pH7.2 ± 0.2 How to use: 1.Suspend 35g in 1L of distilled water , stirring heated to boiling to completely dissolve , autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes. 2.Diluted and treated samples.
Storage Conditions
Keep container tightly closed, store in a cool, dry place, away from bright light. Storage period of 3 years.
Recommended Usage
For selective cultivation of Vibrio cholera.
