Assay Principle
Yeast extract, peptone, provide nitrogen acid protein hydrolysates, vitamins, growth factors; glucose, to fermentable sugars; soluble starch can absorb the harmful substances produced by bacteria in the recovery process; sodium pyruvate may enhance recovery of bacteria. PH buffer is potassium dihydrogen phosphate; provided over anhydrous magnesium divalent cations; agar as coagulant. Formulation (per liter) : Yeast extract powder 0.5g Peptone 0.5g Casein hydrolyzate 0.5g Glucose 0.5g Soluble starch 0.5g Potassium dihydrogen phosphate 0.3g Anhydrous magnesium sulfate 0.024g Sodium pyruvate 0.3g Agar 15.0g Final pH 7.2 ± 0.2 How to use: 1.Suspend 18.1g in 1 L of distilled water , stirring heated to boiling until completely dissolved, dispensing flask, 121 °C autoclave for 15min. 2.Diluted and treated samples.
