Description
11 (S) -HETE is the non-enzymatically derived (S) -enantiomer of 11-HETE, an oxylipin from arachidonic acid. Its levels are elevated in human plasma and serum, including during LPS stimulation, and decreased serum levels in allergic rhinitis patients after DM-SCIT correlate with improved rhinoconjunctivitis quality of life. This molecule is used in research areas such as inflammation, allergy, and lipid mediator studies.
