Antibacterial agent 98 inhibits the ATPase activity of Gyrase B and impairs Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus ) DNA supercoiling. Antibacterial agent 98 shows antibacterial activity and not induce resistance development of MRSA (methicillin-resistant S. aureus)[1].
