Chaetoglobosin E
Description :
Chaetoglobosin E is a Ferroptosis inducer that exhibits significant cytotoxicity against human tumor cell lines MDA-MB231 and A549, with IC50 values of 9.14 and 7.47 μM, respectively. By downregulating the expression of GPX4 in A549 cells, Chaetoglobosin E markedly increases intracellular levels of Fe2+ and the lipid peroxidation product malondialdehyde (MDA), leading to mitochondrial shrinkage, reduction or disappearance of cristae, and subsequent induction of ferroptosis. Chaetoglobosin E can be used for research in the field of cancer[1].CAS Number :
