Description:
SDZ-FOX-988 (FOX-988) is an orally active antidiabetic agent. SDZ-FOX-988 sequesters mitochondrial coenzyme A to inhibit carnitine palmitoyltransferase II. SDZ-FOX-988 induces mitochondrial injury.
