  SJP-L-5 is a novel HIV-1 capsid dissociation inhibitor (EC50 = 0.16-0.97 μg/mL) . SJP-L-5 inhibits viral infection by blocking the entry of HIV-1 viral DNA into the nucleus. SJP-L-5 can be used for research on viral infections[1].
