  (+) -ITD-1 is an inhibitor of TGF-?, effectively inhibiting TGF-?2 with an IC50 of 0.46 ?M. It promotes the degradation of the TGF-? type II receptor (TGFBR2) and the differentiation of cardiomyocytes. Additionally, it suppresses the formation of the mesoderm during the early differentiation of mouse embryonic stem cells (mESCs) .
