CDKN1C Antibody
Background:
CDKN1C Antibody: The cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 1C (CDKN1C), also known as p57KIP2, is a tight-binding, strong inhibitor of several G1 cyclin/CDK complexes and a negative regulator of cell proliferation. Mutations in this gene are implicated in sporadic cancers and Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome, a cancer-predisposing syndrome, suggesting that this gene is a tumor suppressor candidate. CDKN1C is widely expressed during organogenesis with its expression declining after maturity. It is part of the CIP/KIP family of cyclin-dependent inhibitors (CKIs) which also includes CDKN1A and CDKN1B.NCBI Gene ID:

CDKN1C antibody can be stored at 4˚ C for three months and -20˚ C, stable for up to one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.Calculated Molecular Weight:
35 kDaFragment:
IgGSpecificity:
At least three isoforms of CDKN1C are known to exist; this antibody will detect all three isoforms. Despite its predicted molecular weight, CDKN1C often migrates at 57kDa in SDS-PAGE. CDKN1C antibody is predicted to not cross react with other CIP/KIP proteins.Symbol:
