LPS-PG is a lipopolysaccharide from Porphyromonas gingivalis (P. gingivalis). LPS-PG is an important virulence factor in the pathogenesis of periodontal disease and activates immune cells via Toll-like receptor 2 (TLR2), rather than the receptor for Escherichia coli (E. coli), Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4). A lipoprotein from LPS-PG has been shown to be the major component responsible for TLR2-mediated cell activation[1][2].Target Antigen :
