Description
SDH-IN-36 (Compound 17) is an α-D-tocopherol derivative that functions by inhibiting SDHC and blocking electron transport, leading to increased ROS and the induction of apoptosis. SDH-IN-36 effectively suppresses the proliferation of various tumor cells, including SSK4 (GI50= 0.156 μM), SSNU638 (GI50= 0.659 μM), and SKATOIII (GI50= 0.490 μM) . This compound significantly inhibits tumor growth and can be utilized in cancer research, such as studies on gastric cancer.
