Description
Metaphit methylsulfate is an irreversible acylating antagonist specific for the phencyclidine (PCP) binding site. It covalently labels these sites in rat brain homogenates for in vitro studies and inhibits PCP-induced motor activity via a presynaptic mechanism in vivo.
