Description
SA09-Cu is a potent, noncompetitive NDM-1 inhibitor (IC50 = 9.6 nM) that irreversibly oxidizes the enzyme's zinc-thiolate center. It restores meropenem activity against CRE strains in vitro and shows potential for impeding resistance development in antimicrobial research.
