Description
MptpB-IN-2 (compound 20) is a selective MptpB inhibitor with an IC50 of 0.64 μM, showing weaker activity against MptpA and PTP1B. It serves as a valuable chemical probe for studying MptpB's role in Mycobacterium tuberculosis pathogenesis in vitro, despite its modest whole-cell activity (MIC = 64.9 μM against Mtb H37Rv) .
