Description
BK 129 is a local anesthetic agent that also exhibits smooth muscle relaxant properties by inhibiting both extracellular calcium influx and intracellular calcium release from the sarcoplasmic reticulum. It is a useful research tool for investigating calcium signaling pathways in vascular and visceral smooth muscle, applicable in both in vitro and ex vivo experimental models.
