SKI-I is a selective sphingosine kinase (SK) inhibitor with an IC50 of 1.2 μM against ST-hSK, and it also inhibits hERK2 (IC50 = 11 μM) . This compound induces apoptosis in tumor cell lines and is a valuable tool for studying cancer biology and cell signaling pathways in vitro.
