IL-11
Description :
Interleukin 11 (IL-11), also known as adipogenesis inhibitory factor (AGIF), has multiple effects on both hematopoietic and nonhematopoietic cells. Many of the biological effects described for IL-11 overlap those for IL-6. IL-11 exerts its biological activities through binding to a specific high-affinity receptor complex consisting of an IL-11 receptor chain and gp130.Synonyms :

Protein G chromatographyAssay Protocol :
Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml.Bioactivity :
Immunostaining: This antibody stained human brain stroke (including control cortex and stroke core areas) tissue. The primary antibody was incubated at 2.5 µg/ml overnight at 4°C. This was followed by a fluorophore conjugated secondary antibody. Neutralization: To yield one-half of the maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of human IL-11 (5 ng/ml), a concentration of 2.4-3.6 µg/ml of this antibody is required.Form :
Lyophilized from PBSBuffer :
PBSReconstitution :
WaterStorage Conditions :
The lyophilized antibody is stable for at least 2 years from date of receipt at -20°C. The reconstituted antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-8°C. Frozen aliquots are stable for at least 6 months when stored at -20°C.Host or Source :
