Human (Homo sapiens), Yeast; Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.
  • Specificity and cross reactivity
This antibody recognizes the C-terminal repeat of the largest subunit of RNA polymerase II, it recognizes both unphosphorylated and phosphorylated forms. Species Crossreactivity: Crossreacts with Human, S. cerevisiae. Expected to crossreact with Drosophilia melanogaster, Hamster, Mouse, S. pombe, Arabidopsis thaliana due to sequence homology - all of these species contain at least one or more 100% identical repeats. ; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
  • Purification method
Affinity Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
  • Form Appearance
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. No preservative added.

    N/A
  • Storage and shipping
Store the antibody at +4 degrees Celsius for short term storage.. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and For optimal long term storage, the antibody should be kept at -20 degrees Celsius. Aliquots are stable for at least 3 months the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius.. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
  • Tested applications
ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunofluorescence (IF)
  • Properties
If you buy Antibodies supplied by MBS Monoclonals they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
