CAY10506 is a PPARγ ligand that can induce cell death and ROS production in a PPARγ-dependent manner in vitro. CAY10506 exhibits radiosensitizing effects, enhancing γ-radiations-induced apoptosis and caspase-3-mediated poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) cleavage. CAY10506 can be used in cancer research[1].
