(S) -Lansoprazole (Levolansoprazole) is an isoform of Lansoprazole , which is an orally active proton pump inhibitor which prevents the stomach from producing acid. Lansoprazole (AG 1749) is a potent brain penetrant neutral sphingomyelinase (N-SMase) inhibitor (exosome inhibitor)[2].
