CD94 Recombinant Protein
Background :
CD94 (Natural killer cells antigen CD94) is also known as KLRD1, KP43, NK cell receptor, Killer cell lectin-like receptor subfamily D member 1. CD94 plays a role as a receptor for the recognition of MHC class I HLA-E molecules by NK cells and some cytotoxic T-cells. KLRD1 (CD94) is an antigen preferentially expressed on NK cells and is classified as a type II membrane protein because it has an external C terminus. CD94 pairs with the NKG2 molecule as a heterodimer. The CD94/NKG2 complex, on the surface of natural killer cells interacts with Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) -E on target cells.CAS Number :
