Valganciclovir Hydrochloride
- Description: Valganciclovir is a L-valyl ester prodrug of ganciclovir (Cat. No. 1918), an antiviral agent used for the treatment of HIV associated retinitis and for the prevention of post-transplant cytomegalovirus (CMV) infections. After oral administration, it is rapidly converted to ganciclovir by intestinal and hepatic esterases.
