Description
EDA-DA, a N-terminally tagged dipeptide probe, can be used to label Peptidoglycan (PG) of bacteria. Peptidoglycan (PG), an essential structure in the cell walls of the vast majority of bacteria, is critical for division and maintaining cell shape and hydrostatic pressure[1]. EDA-DA is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Alkyne group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing Azide groups.
