NIR-Thiol dinitrobenzenesulfonate responds to thiol with a large turn-on NIR fluorescence signal upon excitation in the NIR region. NIR-Thiol dinitrobenzenesulfonate is capable of imaging endogenously produced thiol in living cells and mice[1].
