Description
DMPX (3,7-Dimethyl-1-propargylxanthine) is a BBB-penetrable caffeine analogue. DMPX is A2 selective adenosine receptor (AR) antagonist that strongly and selectively blocks hypothermia and behavioral inhibition induced by A2 adenosine receptor agonists such as NECA. DMPX can be used in the study of Parkinson's disease and other diseases[1][2].
