  TAT-MEK1, an inhibitor of ERK2, comprises TAT and MEK1 (N-terminal) . The TAT component (YGRKKRRQRRR) is a cell-penetrating peptide derived from the human immunodeficiency (HIV-1) transcriptional trans activator (TAT) . TAT-MEK1 has an IC50 of 29 ?M for ERK2 in vitro [1] [2].
