Description
3,9'-Bicarbazole (CAS: 18628-07-4) is an organic aromatic heterocyclic compound, consisting of two carbazole rings linked by a covalent bond between the 3-position of one carbazole ring and the 9-position of the other carbazole ring. It appears as white to pale yellow crystalline powder, slightly soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, methanol, dichloromethane, chloroform, ethyl acetate and other organic solvents. It has excellent chemical stability, thermal stability and photoelectric properties; the double carbazole heterocyclic structure endows it with strong aromaticity and electron-rich characteristics, enabling it to undergo substitution, coupling and other reactions, making it an important intermediate widely used in pharmaceutical, pesticide, fine chemical and organic electronic material synthesis fields.
Synonyms
