Description
3,3'-Bicarbazole (CAS: 1984-49-2) is an organic aromatic heterocyclic compound, consisting of two 9H-carbazole moieties linked at the 3-position. It appears as white to off-white crystalline powder, slightly soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, methanol, dichloromethane, chloroform, ethyl acetate and other organic solvents. It has excellent chemical stability, thermal stability and photoelectric properties; the dual carbazole structure enables it to undergo substitution, coupling and other reactions, making it an important intermediate widely used in pharmaceutical, pesticide, fine chemical and organic electronic material synthesis fields.
Synonyms
3,3'-Bicarbazole, 3,3'-Bi-9H-carbazole, 9H,9'H-3,3'-Bicarbazole, Bis (9H-carbazol-3-yl), 3,3'-Dicarbazole, 3- (9H-Carbazol-3-yl) -9H-carbazole
Applications
