Interaction with PDCD1 inhibits T-cell proliferation by blocking cell cycle progression and cytokine production. induction:Up-regulated by IFNG stimulation in monocytes and induced on dendritic cells grown from peripheral blood mononuclear cells with CSF2 and IL4.
