Assay Principle
Trypticase and yeast extract powder provides carbon and nitrogen sources, vitamins and growth factors; there fermentable sugars glucose provide more conducive to growth; maintaining a balanced osmotic sodium chloride; sodium ethanol and L- cystine can effectively reduce redox potential, prevent the accumulation of toxic peroxide for certain bacteria. Formulation (per liter) : L-Cystine 0.5g Sodium Chloride 2.5g Dextrose 5g Agar, granulated 0.75g Yeast Extract (water-soluble) 5.0g Pancreatic Digest of Casein 15.0g Sodium Thioglycollate 0.5g Resazurin Sodium 0.001g Final pH 7.1±0.2
Assay Protocol
1. Suspend 29.3g in 1 L of distilled or deionized water , heated to boiling stirring until completely dissolved, dispensing into flask, autoclave at 121 °C for 15min. 2.Dilluted and treated samples.
Storage Conditions
Store in a dark, cool and dry place, tighten the cap immediately after use. Storage period of three years.
