  CCL15 belongs to the CC chemokine family that is also known as leukotactin-1, MIP5 and HCC-2. There are at least 27 distinct members of the C-C subgroup reported for mammals. CC chemokines induce the migration of monocytes and other cell types such as NK cells and dendritic cells. CCL15 is expressed in various tissues including liver, small intestine, colon, and in certain leukocytes and macrophages of the lung. It is chemotactic for neutrophils, monocytes, and lymphocytes.
