Background
CCL20, also known as liver activation regulated chemokine (LARC) or Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-3 (MIP3A) is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family. There are at least 27 distinct members of the C-C subgroup reported for mammals. They are characterized by two adjacent cysteines. CC chemokines induce the migration of monocytes and other cell types such as NK cells and dendritic cells. CCL20/LARC/MIP-3A is strongly chemotactic for lymphocytes. CCL20 elicits its effects on its target cells by binding and activating the chemokine receptor CCR6.
Description
The Chicken CCL20 (LARC, MIP-3 alpha, Exodus-1) ELISA contains capture antibody, standard, and detection antibody for development of a Chicken CCL20 ELISA. The antibodies have been determined to function in an ELISA with the standard provided. Optimal buffers, concentrations, incubation times, incubation temperatures, and methods for the ELISA have not been determined. This allows for complete flexibility to provide optimal dynamic range and sensitivity based on your sample type. Alternate names include CCL20, CKb4, Exodus, LARC, MIP-3-alpha, MIP-3a, MIP3A, SCYA20, ST38, chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 20, C-C motif chemokine ligand 20.
