F3288-0031 is an allosteric inhibitor of the norepinephrine transporter (NET), demonstrating a 73.5% inhibition rate at a concentration of 20 μM. It binds to NET, stabilizing its inward-open state, and shows preferential inhibitory activity against NET/SERT, with a pIC50 of 5.9. No off-target functional activity has been detected for F3288-0031. Furthermore, it exhibits significant antidepressant-like efficacy without interfering with motor functions. This compound is applicable in the study of depression and related neuropsychiatric disorders.
