Description
4-Hydroxy-3-Nitrophenylacetyl-PE (NP-PE) is a fluorescently labeled immunoreagent, formed by conjugating the hapten NP (4-hydroxy-3-nitrophenylacetyl) with the fluorescent dye PE (phycoerythrin) . It is primarily used to study the mechanisms of B-cell capture and immune complex transport, relying on the complement system and functioning by binding to complement receptors CR1 and CR2 on B cells.
