Description
MCG-02 is a potent small molecule inhibitor of the cysteine proteases cruzain (CRZ) in Trypanosoma cruzi (IC50 = 0.2 μM) and cathepsin L-like protease (CATL) in Trypanosoma brucei (IC50 = 0.02 μM) . This compound is a valuable research tool for studying parasite biology and for in vitro screening in the development of novel anti-trypanosomal agents.
