Description
NA-Ir is a ferroptosis inducer that targets mitochondrial DNA to activate the cGAS-STING pathway and promote ferritinophagy. Its photodynamic activity enhances ROS production, depletes GSH, and downregulates GPX4 to drive lipid peroxidation. This compound shows selective activity against cancer cells with elevated H2S levels in both cellular and animal studies.
