Description
Antimycobacterial agent-8 (Compound 49) is a DNA gyrase inhibitor with potent activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MIC90 = 2.5 μM) and M. abscessus (MIC90 = 0.63 μM) . Its demonstrated plasma protein binding in mice supports its utility for in vitro and in vivo pharmacological studies of mycobacterial infections.
